Hey y'all, I'm Haley...
I'm a hard-nosed Southern Belle...in other words, I'm a Scarlett and not a Melanie. I'm an artist, a culinary Queen, and a shameless Do-It-Yourself diva. I love to laugh, cook, play and create! I'm here to share the wild successes and shenanigans around the house, in the kitchen, in the garden, and in the other places life takes me.

Southern English is my native tongue. I love living off the land, and shooting my guns, but I also love wearing high heels with my pearls. I take pride in being Southern, in being from Alabama, and in my family and our heritage.
I was born an raised in the Montgomery, Alabama, one of the few cities left in the States that really makes you think, "Old South." I was born in the 80's and grew up in the 90's. I have an older brother, 10 years my senior, and a little sister, 11 years younger than me. I graduated from college prep school and followed in 2 generations of my family's footsteps and I went to Auburn University, my favorite place in the whole wide world.
When I was at Auburn, I was member of Delta Gamma Sorority where I became friends with some of the best gals in the world. In the meantime, my parents moved away from Montgomery, as far in the direction South in Alabama as you can possibly move, so now they are living on permanent "Island Time" on the Gulf Coast. In 2007, I graduated with a business degree in Marketing from Auburn, and moved back home to Montgomery.
In 2010, I met my marvelous boyfriend, Joel, and after 2 years of doing that whole "long distance" thing, I moved to Birmingham to be with him. My life revolves around him, and our two smelly, hairy, yet adorable labradors...
